Are there any ways I can help my wife during her menopause? She has extreme mood swings and hot flashes and I can't deal with them. The B12 shots I take are great for my problems but is it ok if she gets them as well? Would it help her?

A friend of mine had hot flashes too but after becoming a devoted raw foodist, she swore in just about 2 months her hot flashes went away. I don’t know but different approaches to treatment may work differently to different people. Others attest to having their night sweats relieved by the Master Cleanse. But who can stay on the master cleanse forever? Some suggest the hormone replacement therapy is better than staying on the master cleanse because apparently it affords a complete relief from night sweats and mood swings. Do try to look into these but do consult a health care professional before having your try any.

I heard Vitex is good for the hot flashes. Sometimes though we are made to believe that these symptoms are normal part of aging but may actually be caused by hormone imbalance and not just menopause. Talk her into trying liver cleanses and flushes. A congested colon and liver leads to a lot of hormone imbalances.

Accurately, hot flashes and "mood swings" are reflected in the newly-created imbalance that exists between progesterone (the responsible party) and estrogen (the one that is now no longer available). Restoring that balance is the only real way to make huge strides in impact.

Now, this is not to suggest she need get hormonal replacement, there are plenty of decent sources of phytoestrogens that would likely be very effective for her like flax oil and cissus quadrangularis.

Something like giving her a bit of DHEA would likely be beneficial as well; dosing will be body-size related, however so not knowing her case is very challenging in this regard when speaking hormonally.

In dealing with your wife's menopausing stage here are some factors you can read on.

There's a couple all-natural products that you might want to consider.

Menopause Balance Complex - Uses compounds found in plants call phytoestrogens to ease mood swings, sleeplessness, and hot flashes associated with menopause.

Contains a standardized extract of Black Cohosh as well as Soy Isoflavones and Flaxseed. Also contains a proprietary phytoestrogen blend of dong quai, red clover and licorice.

Menopause Balance Complex Cooling Lotion - It's progesterone-free and may be used as often as needed without side effects. Pleasantly scented.

Contains a proprietary, synergistic blend of more than a dozen natural herbs including black cohosh, soy isoflavones, evening primrose extract, flaxseed, and jojoba seed oils.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions or the website.
